I have been working out with Theresa for several years now. She started training me in circus when I was visiting Boston one summer. After training with her I realized my body had never felt as strong or as flexible before that I decided to continue training with her after returning home to the UAE online… Recent years I have been very interested in holistic health and how our life style from what we eat to how much we move effects the overall health. What’s very impressive for me in Theresa is her knowledge of human body as well as her background in nutrition. During our sessions she informs me regularly on each of the muscles we work with and their functions and how they relate to one another. I can ask her about my diet and get great advice. “I’ve experienced a ton of success with Theresa & Mike working out with them in semi-private [small group] trainings. I felt like my next step in self-improvement was to start changing my nutrition. I’ve spent most of my adult life eating whatever gave me that instant gratification. I knew that I should be eating more vegetables and leaner meats and less sugar and fats. However, any diets I started would quickly fizzle out once I got bored or wouldn’t see any quick results. 

From the beginning Theresa has met me where I am at. We started with a simple process of just tracking what I was eating to see where we could make minor tweaks and start developing better habits. When I’ve been ready, she will add on another manageable piece to focus on. I’ve found that these steps are all much easier to become habit forming to the point it’s not work. 

One of my biggest challenges is my hatred for meal planning and trying to decide on what I might want to eat days from now. I always thought of veggies as a side dish and not something specific in my diet. Theresa has helped by providing me with different handouts and links to meal planning and recipe to try and expand my horizons. 

After weeks of focused and intentional eating I’m feeling much more alert and energetic. I can tell when I’m getting the nutrients I need versus eating junk food and feeling lethargic and unwell. I recently had to wear a suit and after dropping 4 pants sizes, all my suits are too big! I’ve never had this problem in my life before and it’s the best problem I’ve ever had.”
